My great-nephew, Ben, turns one this week. His present
will be a “Grandma’s Flower Garden” quilt. This top was
the last quilt top my mother pieced by hand. I quilted it
on my Gammill.
Ben’s party theme was “down on the farm.” I needed a
gift bag that fit with his theme, so I started with a bag
from “Banana Republic” and added images cut from
my cricut with “Everyday Paper Dolls”

First I used chalk and a cotton ball to create a sky. I then used “Stampin Up” paper to cut my images. I used the following colors. (Garden Green-tractor & grass, Pink Pirouette-pig, More Mustard-hat & hay, Real Red-barn & back round for 1, Not Quite Navy-bibs, Tempting Turquoise-letters) I used the”Zooballo”cartridge for the letters.
Thanks great aunt Kimmy. We love the quilt, so special & the bag & card were so appropriate. We had such a good time & your present was one of our favorites!
