Another wedding…congratulations Greg and Katie

wedding card

Wedding card made with Cricut and Stampin UP

We are off to another wedding, this will be the sixth wedding is less than a year.  I think this will be the last wedding, but you know the rhyme.  “…first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes  _____ with a baby carriage.”  So I am going to start looking for baby crafts next.  LOL  We are going to Greg and Katie’s marriage this afternoon, so I need to make them a card and present.  I found this fancy paper at Hobby Lobby and fell in love with it.

You will need:

Paper from Hobby Lobby Gray and White

Stampin Up supplies: (you can order these supplies by clicking here.

Whisper white and Basic Gray , scraps for hair, flesh and boquet

small pearls

Melon Mambo stamp pad

Melon Mambo marker

I used Curvy Verses (retired) stamp set

Wrap It Up Cricut Cartridge

I cut the bride 4″ on the Cricut.  I cut her from white and vellum.  I had to trim the vellum around the flesh.  I also used a little trick to save on paper.  Since the Gray and white paper from Hobby Lobby was $1.99 a sheet, I punched a small tag from the center of the background for the verse before I taped it on.  I now have a small tag to use on another project.

framed wedding date

Framed Family Name and Wedding Date

I decided to do a framed wedding date for Greg and Katie.  I think it worked better then the Russell’s since I cut the first names smaller.  If you would like instructions visit this eariler post.  Notice that Greg and Katie wedding date is exactly 66 years after Harold’s and Helen’s.  🙂  Wishing the Bell’s at least 66 years together.
