The weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful and since we’ve no place to go….Let it Snow…
I am sure everyone has heard that famous song. In OH we have been living it the past couple of weeks. We have gotten more snowfall than all of last year…ALREADY! With the Holidays over it was time to put away the Christmas decorations and get out the snowmen. I didn’t realize how many snowmen I have accumulated over the years. This is my “Button Up” January quilt. If you have been following my blog, you will remember a Halloween Button Up and a Thanksgiving Button Up. I have linked those posts in case you are interested in the patterns. I believe they are all still available for purchase.
Since I have retired I have been trying to get back into long-arm quilting. I haven’t posted the quilts I have been doing, but I did want to show you the words that are quilted on this wallhanging. The original pattern called for the work “January” down the side, but I thought I might leave it up in February, so I quilted the words…Let it Snow…along the border. I hope you are enjoying the Winter weather. It is a great time to curl up and work on a hand project.
