There are FREE cuts again in the Cricut Craft Room. The cuts are geared for the Classroom and they are digital downloads. There are 6 sets of these cuts with two months in each download. Although these cuts are geared toward teachers, I have made 3 different cuts to give you an idea of how you can use them in everyday scrapbooking. The first items I made were two Back To School cards for Leanne and Brantley since they will be entering the 1st grade this year. I made the “back to school” cut from the Aug/Sept download. The “1st grade” was cut using the “Craft Room Basics” which is a FREE cut that is always available in the Craft Room.
To make this cut, pick Cricut Craft Room Basic” under cartridges and then you will hit “Add Text Box”. You can then use your keyboard to type in the phrase you would like to cut. I choose to have my words “weld”. To achieve this, just go to spacing and then I entered (-5) and it will weld your letters together. To make two cuts, I just right clicked on my mouse and hit “copy” (make sure there is a gray box around your phrase) and then hit “paste”.
Here are a couple of scrapbook pages using the Classroom cuts.
Don’t forget to check the Cricut Craft Room often and make your cuts as soon as they appear. Happy cutting!!
