Cricut Craft Room Holiday Card 12
It’s day 12 of the 40 FREE Holiday Card cuts in the Cricut Craft Room. Make sure you have downloaded the program to your computer to take advantage of these FREE cuts. The Cricut Craft Room download can be found on Cricut.com and can be used with any Cricut machine. This card was similar to the Let it Snow card I posted yesterday. I jazzed it up a little with a snowflake from Stampin Up and a few pearls.

Here is another version of this FREE cut…
Cricut Craft Room Holiday Card 12
I added a couple of shiny snowflakes I purchase on a garland at an after Christmas sale. You need to think outside the box when you are choosing items to put on your cards or scrapbook pages. I hope you are enjoying these cards.
Holiday Card 10
If you haven’t been in the Cricut Craft Room yet, now is the time to visit it. I missed the first 9 days of the FREE Holiday card cuts, but I will be visiting it every day until Christmas. There will be 29 more cards. Each card is only posted for one day. This cut was from day 10.
Cricut Holiday Card 11
This was the card from today. I must confess, I had trouble with getting all the little pieces out of the card. My card was 4″ x 5″. I used Stampin’ Up paper and it is a nice weigh, but sometimes I have trouble when there are a great deal of small cuts. I think I would have liked it better if I would have used red paper behind the white.

This card is also in the Craft Room today. I am sure you can purchase these cuts at Cricut.com if you miss the FREE cuts. Happy Cutting!
Cricut Classroom August and September
One of the reasons that I haven’t been posting is because I took a job as a para-professional in a Preschool class this school year. We started out the school year with a substitute teacher. Today was her last day to teach, so I went to the Cricut Craft Room and found the FREE cut of the week was Classroom August and September.
Cricut Classroom Aug/Sept
My first cut was this school-house. I added a bottom to the school-house and put a gift card inside. I covered the windows and doors so that you could not see the cards from the outside. I then made her a card using the same FREE cuts. I wrote the word “Falls” and used the FREE Cricut Craft Room Basic Font to cut the words, “We’ll Miss You”. We truly will miss you, Miss S!!
Make sure you take advantage of the FREE Cricut Craft Room cuts. I have found that they usually add a new cut on Sunday or Thursday and take them off the following Thursday. Happy cutting!!
Cricut Something to Celebrate Birthday card
The free Cricut Cut in the Cricut Craft Room this week is Something to Celebrate. You can cut the images for scrapbooking or they can be cut to make cards. I made these two cards for two cuties that will be turning 5 soon.

Cricut Brooklyn Iron-On
I wanted to share the FREE Cricut Craft Room cuts for this week. If you remember my post from a couple of weeks ago, my niece, Kathleen got a new Cricut. I am happy to say these are the first cuts she made with her Cricut. We successfully downloaded the Cricut Craft Room to her computer and she was in Heaven! We did run into a snag with her firewall, but we soon got past it and she is busy trying her hand at the Cricut. I think my favorite cut above is the camera…and doesn’t it look great against the orange cardstock. There are many other cuts on this week, so open your Cricut Craft Room and have some FUN!
Cricut Classroom Back to School Card
There are FREE cuts again in the Cricut Craft Room. The cuts are geared for the Classroom and they are digital downloads. There are 6 sets of these cuts with two months in each download. Although these cuts are geared toward teachers, I have made 3 different cuts to give you an idea of how you can use them in everyday scrapbooking. The first items I made were two Back To School cards for Leanne and Brantley since they will be entering the 1st grade this year. I made the “back to school” cut from the Aug/Sept download. The “1st grade” was cut using the “Craft Room Basics” which is a FREE cut that is always available in the Craft Room.
Craft Room Basic Cricut cuts
To make this cut, pick Cricut Craft Room Basic” under cartridges and then you will hit “Add Text Box”. You can then use your keyboard to type in the phrase you would like to cut. I choose to have my words “weld”. To achieve this, just go to spacing and then I entered (-5) and it will weld your letters together. To make two cuts, I just right clicked on my mouse and hit “copy” (make sure there is a gray box around your phrase) and then hit “paste”.
Here are a couple of scrapbook pages using the Classroom cuts.
Don’t forget to check the Cricut Craft Room often and make your cuts as soon as they appear. Happy cutting!!
Cricut Groovy Times Happy Birthday
Happy, happy, happy…
July is a busy Birthday month for my family. My niece and great-niece have birthday’s a day and a year apart this month. I stumbled across an old pack of paper called “neon brights” and decided to get out my “Groovy Times” Cricut cartridge to make their cards. I went for the “twin” look and made it easy on myself. I cut the Happy Birthday with the “Wild Card” cartridge.
Here are the Beautiful Birthday Girls with their matching cards. The greatest thing about this celebration was that Kathleen actually got a Cricut of her own for her birthday.
Here she is when she read the box and exclaimed, “That really isn’t what is in the box… is it?” She was so excited!! A Mini-ME….
I can not wait to see the Cricut projects she will make this Summer!!
Last, but not least, is a picture of my sister and the girls. It was actually my sister’s birthday that day (Kathleen’s mom) so it made Kathleen’s gift a real surprise because she thought the present was for her mom!
